• Click here Download Avaya IX Workplace 
  • Click Next
  • Check the box to accept the terms and click Next
  • Choose Complete and click Next
  • Click Next
  • Choose English and click Next
  • Click Install (choose Yes for any prompts)
  • Leave the box checked and click Finish
  • Choose Configure my account
  • Do not enter your email address, instead click the gear icon in the upper right hand corner.
  • Choose Manually configure (Expert Mode).
  • Click Accounts from menu on left of screen.
  • Enter your 4 digit desk phone extension and password (usually same as your extension).
    *** Do not hit the DONE yet. ***
  • Click Services menu on the left side of screen.
  • Click Show Details
  • Double click on Phone Service
  • In the Service Address field, enter "cos-sipreg-gov.shreveportla.gov" without the quotes.
  • In the Domain field, enter "shreveportla.gov" without the quotes.
  • Click the DONE .
